RECREATION DIRECTOR, PART-TIME – BOROUGH OF WASHINGTON (Warren County) has an immediate opening for a part-time Recreation Director. 20 hours/week with evening and weekends required as needed. Responsible for oversight of park maintenance/repairs, program/event planning, pool operations and budget preparation/oversight. Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in planning and organization of a recreation program for municipalities, as well as knowledge of public finance/purchasing laws. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required, N.J. State Certification as a Recreation Administrator a plus. Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER (PT) & ZONING OFFICER (PT) – WASHINGTON BOROUGH (Warren County). Two Part-Time Civil Service positions available July 1, 2010. Candidate(s) may be hired provisionally but will be required to apply for permanent appointment via Civil Service requirements. Positions required to enforce State, County, and Local zoning laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations as applicable. Must be able to analyze and interpret local zoning ordinances and/or related codes that apply to zoning and land use. Excellent writing, communication and computer skills required. Prefer three (3) years of Code Enforcement or Zoning Enforcement experience. Valid driver’s license required. Salary commensurate with experience.
